De Boothstraat Utrecht is in 1659 aangelegd. De huizen in de Boothstraat dateren, op een na (Boothstraat 6), van na die tijd. In de loop der jaren zijn de huizen verbouwd. Bouwtekeningen en bouwdossiers uit eind negentiende eeuw en de twintigste eeuw zijn bewaard gebleven.
